Ode to the Bowl of 50

It was the great game
Yet it had not true flame
A defensive struggle, that most consider lame
Nothing was super in this bowl, but what’s in a name?

For such a terrible game,
Who is to blame?
Even the commercials all looked the same
Did the singers really have world fame?

Four times I fell asleep from this bore of a game
Far from super
Easily forgotten

An old passer that can no longer pass
A young gunner afraid to jump on a fumble
Two offenses that both looked asleep
So much for the Bowl of L maybe LI will be better
